Update Part 2

August went by quickly and before we knew it, it was time to head to Colorado for Vincent's baptism. But before we left, we purchased what is known as a, "Mom Car."

Yes folks, we got a minivan, and it is glorious!! I cannot tell you how much easier it is to get the kids in and out of this spacious vehicle AND have room for strollers and groceries. During our trip out, I was able to sit comfortably in the back seat and feed Vincent his bottles. I was also able to change both children in the van without having to truck both of them into the small rest stop bathrooms with me.

While out on our final test drive, Vinny got hungry. We stopped at a local gas station and I fed him, and was completely stoked for this new ride we were about to purchase!

Throughout the month of August we had a few visitors. Mimi, Pops, Aunt Maria, Uncle Domi, Uncle Alex, and even Great Aunt Koo-Kris came to meet Vinny.

There were still down times where cuddles happened and so did laundry and Netflix (on Labor Day), so I have to document that:

When September came, we were ready to get out to Colorado and see family. We left very early in the morning (around 3am) so that the kids would sleep most of the trip.

Agnes needed her sunglasses on to sleep.

What was special about this visit was that my sister and her family were going to make the trip to my parent's house, as well. Her newborn is just 10 days older than Vinny and we planned so that they would be baptized together on the same day. It was a great little reunion and I was so happy to see them. Even Paul's family made it (minus Domi) as well as the Godparents (Paul's sister, Maria, and his best friend, Steve).

Beautiful boys, C and Vinny.

Agnes got to spend time with her cousins and she loved it!

Maria had to get back to school, but Mimi, Pops, and Uncle Alex stayed and they drove up the peak!

After our September trip, we traveled down to Texas and spent time with my other sister and her family. Mimi and Pops even met us in Texas because Maria goes to school there and Paul had a meeting at the school. I spent as much time as I could over at my sister's house and Agnes, Vincent, and I had a blast (Paul was very busy that weekend). Mimi and Pops took Agnes to the Fort Worth Stockyards one afternoon so it was nice to get some down time with my family.

I stayed pretty late at the house every night I visited so I bathed the children there and got them all ready for bed before going back to the hotel. It worked out very well. And even though everyone (including my sister who is a teacher) had school the next mornings, they were very gracious in spending as much time as I wanted with them <3

It was such a busy weekend, Agnes had no trouble falling asleep and sleeping all night in her own big bed.
